British and American stars made their way over to Germany for the 60th Bambi Awards in Offenburg last night. The ceremony recognises achievement in sports and entertainment as well as communication, economy and politics, and sports stars like our own Lewis Hamilton walked the red carpet alongside actors like Keanu Reeves and singers like Pink. Gorgeous Joshua Jackson looked dashing in his suit next to a shimmering Diane Kruger, while Leona Lewis followed Diane's lead and swapped her pink and black dress from her Tribute to Bambi performance for a beautiful floor-length gown.

With the writers' strike putting a pause on my favorite television series plot, I've started watching repeats of Gossip Girl. I recently caught the pilot and came across a scene in which Chuck feeds a drunk Serena a grilled cheese sandwich from his hotel's kitchen.
Not your ordinary grilled cheese — it's actually on the New York Palace Hotel's restaurant menu — this sandwich costs $50.

It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars — minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family — gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan.

If you're already missing your weekly dose of Top Chef, don't fret: Bravo has announced the cheftestant roster for Top Chef Masters, a new series premiering June 10.
In addition to its impressive cheftestant list and exciting new lineup of judges, the new show will also feature special appearances from a number of personalities, ranging from the predictable (previous winners, Tom, Padma, and Gail) to the surprising (Neil Patrick Harris, Zooey Deschanel, writers and producers of Lost). The show has 24 of the country's most prominent chefs vying for a $100,000 charity prize.

Despite rumors that Graydon Carter was scaling things back for this year's Vanity Fair Oscars party, the soiree was as A-List as ever at its new venue the Sunset Towers. Jennifer Aniston could relax after her presenting duties, and when she and John Mayer hit the party, they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The couple cuddled up every chance they got, and he twittered a sweet message about her.

Last night the who's who of the food world all came out for the James Beard Foundation Awards. If you're not sure what that is, let me just say that it's sort of like the Oscars of the food world. They give awards to several categories of cookbooks, journalism, chefs, media, and more (including humanitarian & lifetime achievement awards).

Thankfully Matt Damon ditched the hideous mustache to accept his Spike TV Guy of the Year Award. His character Jason Bourne also won for Biggest Ass Kicker. It's the second time the network has had the Guy Choice Awards which included categories such as The Hotter Eva (Mendes won), Decade of Hotness (Cameron Diaz), Hottest Girl on the Planet (Jessica Biel, really?), The Next Big Thing (Megan Fox) and Luckiest Bastard (Brian Austin Green).

The Emmys ended but the fun certainly didn't stop there. Our favorite American Idol judges and boys from Entourage were among the many celebs who headed to Les Deux for the TV Guide party. Obviously the girls from the The Hills would never miss a party at their favorite hotspot, and Eric and Rebecca weren't ready to go home either.

Some of the hottest stars of the small screen were out Saturday night for another night of GLAAD Media Awards, this time in LA. Becki Newton looked ready for Summer in her yellow dress posing with on screen BFF Michael Urie. Both were honored when the cast of Ugly Betty won Outstanding Comedy Series for the second year in a row.

Tom Cruise skipped the red carpet (boo — where was Katie?) and despite the latest controversy, he was there to support his fellow actors in the union last night at the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Tom presented the best ensemble cast to No Country For Old Men. Other big winners included Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, The Sopranos cast and Daniel Day Lewis who had the most heartfelt speech dedicating his award to Heath Ledger who he said was "unique" and "perfect" when referring to his role as Ennis in Brokeback Mountain.
