Charging stations are becoming more and more ubiquitous — their advantage being the organization they provide. So why not apply the idea to a time when you really need to be organized — when you're on the road traveling?
Crate and Barrel has your travel gadget solution: its new Travel Charging Station ($30).

One of my favorite places to shop for my apartment, Crate and Barrel, has come out with its own charging station — and to my delight, it's both simple and attractive, but at $45, it also doesn't break the bank.
For a charging station that doesn't look like crap, that's definitely a reasonable price, considering some Pottery Barn stations have been known to skyrocket to almost $200!
I like the dark wood exterior and achingly simple design, but it might be too basic for some people.

I recently received a catalog of all the new goodness at Crate & Barrel, and there's so much to love, I couldn't help but share. I'm seeing a lot of rich, deep tones like eggplant, berry, and mountainous blues, as well as a range of graphic patterns from methodical mazes to free-form kaleidoscope-like motifs. There also seems to be a few updated midcentury-style pieces, as well as several with an industrial look.

Su Casa member Minka has made some updates her living room, and I am thoroughly impressed! Here's what she said about the changes:
I rearranged the pictures on my wall salon-style, so there's room for more. Lots of my friends are photographers, so I'm always snagging work from them.

I like the wrap-around, bucket-like shape of the Crate & Barrel Azure Chair ($1,099), and its eco-friendly construction. But, I'm not sold on the tufting; it looks a little odd to me.

I've always loved the look of an antique trunk used as a coffee table, and the fact that they can double as storage for your odds and ends. But, when you're entertaining and your coffee table is spotted with wine glasses and hors d'oeuvre trays, it's a hassle to have to sacrifice your tabletop space if you want access to anything that lies in the storage trunk. So, when I came across the Taka Trunk ($499) at Crate and Barrel, I was delighted to learn that I could have it both ways.

I went into Crate and Barrel the other day to find a tea pot, but to my surprise I found . . .

You and one other lucky CasaSugar reader could be the recipients of a $500 gift card from Crate and Barrel. The catch? Well, there's no catch, actually.
