Recently, I was lucky enough to sit down with one of my idols: the extraordinary event planner Colin Cowie. We met for coffee on a sunny California afternoon and discussed his new book Chic, the dos and don'ts of being a fabulous hostess, and the formula for a successful and memorable party. The room was packed, the decor was lush, and the drinks were flowing at both the pre and post show parties.

Now, a new site provides a service similar to Google Docs without having to sign in through Gmail.

Twitter recently rolled out its locations feature, allowing tweets posted from the web to include your location. While this functionality has been available to developers for a while, you weren't able to geo-tag your tweets from Twitter.com until this week.
You have to turn the function on to use it, so there's no risk of accidentally including your location if you don't want to.
