If you're squeezed for space on your Thanksgiving table (and let's face it, who isn't?) try this easy idea. Instead of placing a pretty bouquet front and center on your dinner table, move it to a side table or buffet instead. This will free up room for the turkey and stuffing, and will also avoid any accidental tipping of the bouquet.

If you live with someone who has a total aversion to the color pink, you can still add it to your house in small doses. The easiest way? By using flowers, of course!

Homeowners (and renters as well) tend to only install window boxes on the first floor of their houses. But I love the way the boxes of geraniums on this four-story white building look. On second thought, they're almost too healthy looking; they may be fake, and perhaps it wouldn't work on a more traditional house.

There are plenty of wonderful vases in the world to display your bouquets. But let's be honest, the flowers themselves are where it's at. So why not upcycle some objects you already own to display those stems?

I don't think I've ever received flowers and not loved them. I love tulips, roses, ranunculus — I'm not picky at all. OK, I'm not a fan of carnations, but even then.

Fall's coming and although we've tackled poisonous Summer wildflowers, that season's (sadly) almost done. Let's get into the Fall spirit by looking at more flowers — each of these either begin blooming in autumn or continue through September (or later!) in some climates, so check out the pretty plants and see how well you do!

In the new romantic comedy Love Happens, Jennifer Aniston plays flower shop proprietor Eloise Chandler. I think that tending flowers all day would be a dreamy job. What about you?

This flower is a staple of the Autumn garden. It's known by several different names, one of which is also the name of an herb. Can you tell me what it's called?

This photo, from David Giles's portfolio, is breathtakingly pretty. From the baby blue cooking range to the precious mama and babe, it just speaks of domestic bliss. But my favorite idea from the photo is, by far, the idea of using old enamel coffee pots to display fresh cut flowers.
