I use the word foodie more often than I would like to admit. As you probably know, the word means anyone who's really into food and for some reason, it sounds horrible to me - embarrassingly horrible. I actually really, really hate it, but I won't stop people from using it - or calling me it either - it just sort of makes me cringe inside.
