Whitney Port's friend Erin on The City has a youthful, rock 'n roll style when it comes to her apartment décor. While her trendy accessories aren't exactly timeless, I think they're fun and appropriate for a young chica. I'm particularly smitten with her Gummi Bear lamp, and had to hunt one down for myself.

I have a weakness for gummi bears (especially sour gummi bears). There's just something about those bite-sized delicious bear-shaped jewels that cause me to salivate. So when I saw these gummi bear sculptures by artist Ya Ya Chou I immediately went gaga.

Over in the Serious Eats Forum, folks want you to fill in the blank with a foodie item: I can't keep __________ in the house. Right now mine would have to be sour gummi bears from Bristol Farms (seriously where do they make these and how can I get a factory tour, and why do they taste so different from regular sour gummi bears?!). How about you, what can't you keep in the house?

The imagination and creativity that one must have to create some of pop culture's biggest icons for an entire decade (and then some) is mind-blowing. A cinematic genius and a pop prodigy, John Hughes had the wit and imagination that took movie-goers to a new frontier. Who could forget Mr. Rooney and the gummy bear?

They had a chance to chat about how the singer and actress maintains the good looks Mother Nature gave her and what beauty tips she doles out to her older daughters. When asked how she encourages a good self-image in her youngest child, the mother of four — Melanie, Jillian, Devin and Sasha — said:The youngest one is eating right.

Mary-Kate Olsen is almost unrecognizable with her white-blond hair and icy makeup in the March issue of Interview. She's promoting her clothing lines The Row and Elizabeth and James, which launch men and footwear collections respectively this year. Unfortunately, many of you were turned off by the shoe prices already.

We’re continuing to celebrate mamas-to-be this month with our extensive baby shower planning guides. This week, we fete the mama and newborn who were not ready to be the centers of attention before the birth with a sip and see shower.
Nothing is sweeter than a family celebrating their new addition, so, inspired by the beautiful dessert tables created by Amy Atlas Events, I created a candy bar filled with tasty treats in the same orange and blue color scheme as our invitations.
