Why not start the weekend with a spicy, fragrant chicken? This chicken is rubbed with a mixture of spices typical to Jerk seasoning: paprika, allspice, cayenne, and garlic powder. Although the recipe roasts the chicken in the oven, it would be equally delicious cooked on a grill.

Grapefruit is packed with disease-fighting antioxidants, lycopene, vitamin C and fiber. In fact, half a grapefruit provides 110% of the recommended value for vitamin C and contains more than 60 phytonutrients, which health experts believe help your body battle heart disease, cancer and other maladies -- a high level of pectin found in the fruit may also help you maintain healthy levels of cholesterol.

Somehow, I always forget that I'm a huge fan of chicken wings. They're simple to fix up, and are small enough that you don't feel like you're eating a lot — even after you've chowed down an entire platter. They also make perfect party food, and go great with the fall sporting season.

Vaccines
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recommends that children receive 2 doses of the varicella-zoster (Chickenpox) vaccine: the initial vaccine between ages 12 - 15 months, and a booster between 4 - 6 years. Children aged 12 and older and adults who have not had the vaccine should receive 2 doses. Immunization guidelines were changed following research that indicated the effectiveness of the vaccine declines over time.

Radiation Therapy Complications

The risk appears to increase along with the radiation dosage. Children who receive radiotherapy before age 5 are especially at risk for second primary tumors.
- Survivors of childhood brain tumors who received cranial radiotherapy as part of their treatment are at risk for later having a stroke, indicates a study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
