Aug 26 2009 - 10:15am Currently Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking is on top of the New York Times best seller list. But that's not the only book she wrote, Child has authored more than 10 other cookbooks. Is one of her works on your bookshelf?
Everybody wants one of her cookbooks right now, so if you're looking to acquire one, I would recommend waiting at least a month or so. The movie hype is certainly doing its job.
I don't have one of her cookbooks, but I did check one of them out from the library once and I may have to buy one now. I always check cookbooks out at the library before I buy them to make
sure they're good...hers is definitely worth buying.

1I should probably get one. I've been seeing some of her recipes online lately, and they sound great.
2i don't actually. i think that it would be kind of a moot point for me given that i'm a veggie and most of her dishes are meat/fish/poultry
3Actually, my mother has one. It's worn, tattered and used.
