When I walked into the preview for the Governors Ball, the suspended globes immediately caught my eye. However, once I was able to pull my gaze down, my eyes became lost in the drama that is the floral arrangement.
There are over 15,000 roses, in 15 different shades of red, and they're accompanied by golden orchids imported from Thailand several days before the event.

A tired and happy looking Take That made their way to Kensington's Roof Gardens after their final show of The Circus: Live tour at Wembley Stadium last night. Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Mark Owen were joined by celeb buddies like Will Young, Kimberley Walsh and Jason Donovan for a celebratory bash after their month on the road, playing to 1,080,000 people. I'm sure that they also celebrated their prestigious Silver Clef award win too!

Loads of stars got dressed up to attend the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens last night. Kylie Minogue continued the celebratory mood since her birthday last week by picking up the big award of the night, Woman of the Year, as well as the Entrepreneur gong. British favourites Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton won the Presenter and Radio Personality awards respectively, and Katy Perry was named Newcomer of the Year.

Later this year, Victoria's Secret Beauty plans to redesign and relaunch its makeup line. Until then, it's out with the old and in with the new. A large collection of goodies is now on clearance, with prices shaved up to 75 percent.

Take That were in the Netherlands at the weekend for some promotional appearances on TV, and managed to make a basic promo shot look rather amusing! The boys are back together as a band following Gary Barlow's recent climb of Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, and Gary appeared alongside bandmates Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald on the live telethon on Friday. They performed two songs during the night — most recent single "Up All Night", and album track "The Garden" which you can check out below.

By now you must have heard that Starbucks is closing 600 of its stateside coffee shops. Last week Starbucks released the official list of the closing stores with a grand total of 616 closures. The closing stores are company-operated stand alone locations; no bookstore, super market, or airport Starbucks will be shuttered.

Cosmopolitan magazine hosted their second Online Fashion Awards this morning at the Kensington Roof Gardens and yours truly was lucky enough to attend. Whilst eating fresh fruit and drinking tea we heard about the biggest names in online shopping as voted for by Cosmo readers.
Despite taking home just one acolade, River Island were runners-up in six categories proving the importance of the store on the British High Street.
