As I've mentioned in the past, there seems to be a lot of interesting things going down at the Food Network. Recently, Emeril Live was canceled, but his reps assured us that he wasn't leaving the network. Well, looks like someone had the wrong information or tried to keep things under wraps because this morning Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia announced that they bought the rights to the Emeril franchise.

What do you get when you take a former drag queen and a doctor to a 200-year-old farm? Beekman 1802, a concept that aims to get people connecting with old-timey pleasures such as cooking, gardening, and crafting. Writer Josh Kilmer-Purcell and physician Brent Ridge (a former VP at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia) live on a farm estate in upstate New York, where — among other things — they have a line of handmade soaps ($12.50/set of two) made with milk from the farm's freely grazing goats.

The celebs were at Radio City Music Hall earlier today to promote their shows. There were old and new faces to NBC at the event including Patricia Arquette, Ming-Na Nguyen, Jessica Capshaw, Melania and Donald Trump, Seth Green, Jason Lee, Benjamin Bratt, Carson Daly and more. With a brand new home collection at Macy's under her belt — have you seen the commercials with Tim Gunn? — Martha Stewart has announced another partnership, this time with E.J. Gallo Winery.

As if the recent demise of shelter favorite House and Garden wasn't enough bad news, now sources say that Blueprint is folding as well. According to fishbowlNY, the magazine billed as a "fresh, fun guide to personal style" apparently couldn't find enough of an audience. While not completely disappearing, Blueprint will be dialed back into a publishing schedule that will coordinate with Martha Stewart Weddings.

Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. has announced that it will pull the plug on its struggling shelter magazine, Home, due to "sharp declines in the 'mid-market home sector'," according to the Wall Street Journal. Home will join the ranks of fellow folded shelter titles, Conde Nast's House & Garden and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia's Blueprint.
