I'll leave the tasty mushroom recipes up to Yum, but what's a Bella got to do with these sometimes-poisonous and/or hallucinogenic fungi, anyway? Used in Asian cultures for thousands of years, shiitake mushrooms are known for their ability to reduce inflammation, improve vitality, and increase elasticity of the skin. Rotisserie chicken, pre-sliced mushrooms, and frozen peas are time-saving ingredients that make this variation a cinch.

Whether you're new to cooking or a seasoned expert, stuffed mushrooms are an ideal start to any meal, and many versions are vegetarian! Keep it simple by baking 'shroom caps with a cold cheese mixture, or opt for a more sophisticated variation by making your own breadcrumbs, then adding sautéed vegetables into the stuffing before sticking the bites into the oven.
