Naan
Persian for "bread," naan is a staple of Northern Indian cuisine as well as Pakistani and other Central Asian cuisines. The round flatbread is made of white flour, leavened with yeast, and cooked in a clay oven. The elastic dough can be mixed with ingredients, such as meat, potatoes, chickpeas, or spices.

When I saw naan, a traditional Indian flatbread, for sale at my local Trader Joe's, I immediately thought "naanwich!" and figured it was high time I experimented with one of my favorite Indian takeout orders, tandoori chicken.
Creating this full-flavored spice rack of a dish is as easy as making a yogurt-based marinade and popping some chicken thighs into the oven.

Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but lately I really enjoy staying in on Fridays, preferably with pizza and a movie. I was planning on ordering in this evening, but then I saw this recipe from TeamSugar member LaurenG22. Instead of dealing with pizza dough, she's opted to use Naan as her crust.

As the weather turns cooler, I like adding spice to my meals. Nothing warms me up like a little curry. Last night I cooked up some red Swiss chard with some garam masala and tofu.
