When monthly moodiness strikes, I fight back with baking. I absolutely adore oatmeal cookies — as long as those pesky raisins stay the heck out of them. Strangely enough, it's really difficult to find oatmeal cookies without them. So, I've done us a favor and rounded up 15 raisin-less oatmeal cookies recipes.

Oatmeal cookies may be old-fashioned, but their homey goodness will never grow old. We're all wishing for Spring to finally set in for good, so for those of us still dealing with cold temps and even snow, here's a recipe to say farewell to Winter once and for all. I'm sure if you check your cupboard, you have a can of puréed pumpkin leftover from the cold months, so here's your chance to use it up. This recipe uses whole wheat flour, applesauce, oats, and walnuts, so it's full of fiber and not a lot of fat.

When planning a tailgate, start by checking out your team's online shop. You can find all sorts of fun stuff like folding chairs and snack helmets, which are ideal for holding shrimp artichoke dip. Then head to a local party store to pick up color-coordinated supplies: paper plates, napkins, plastic cups, and balloons.
