My favorite sangria pitcher has cracked. I removed it from the dishwasher when it was warm, added a bunch of ice, and put a giant crack in it. While I was bummed at first, I realized that this means I have to get a new pitcher!

When I was a kid, my mom had the most beautiful set of butterfly coasters. They were bamboo edges with clear glass on top of lace with a butterfly right in the center. They were too pretty to use and she had them as decoration, but I would play with them often.

This Unbreakable Drink Dispenser actually looks more like a soap dispenser than a drink dispenser. I suppose it might be good in a party situation, but I think I'm going to stick to a nice pitcher. How about you guys, what do you think of this $19.95 dispenser?

This weekend when I made the sangria and clerico for a welcome back party, I realized the importance and the invaluable use of a nice, good sized pitcher. To avoid spending way too much time behind the bar, I prefer to make a few batches of one specialty cocktail in advance. The concoction can sit in the fridge until the guests arrive, when it is then placed on the bar next to the serving glasses.

Since FitSugar is devoted to your health and this month is devoted to Breast Cancer Awareness, it is fitting to get yourself one of these Vitapur Breast Cancer Awareness Water Pitchers ($24.99, a portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation). A filtered water pitcher is a great way to be able to drink filtered water from the tap. What's more?

Last Thursday I got an email from a girlfriend asking me if I would make mai tais for a party on Friday night. Considering my profession, and the fact that I take pleasure in crafting specialty cocktails for my friends and family to enjoy, this is not an uncommon request. However, her email was more like a quickfire challenge because it wasn't just any old party, it was her rehearsal dinner and 78 people had RSVPed — that's a lot of mai tais.
