Yep, you read that title correctly. I didn't forget a decimal point, that does indeed read twenty-one hundred dollars. Or, if you prefer, $160 per pound.

The cost of maintaining a home and appliances is often a major deterrent for those debating whether to rent or purchase a home. The unexpected expense of fixing leaky gutters and broken dishwashers can be budget breaking if it comes at the wrong time of month. Not to mention it's a huge pain.

Thanksgiving should be a time of giving thanks and appreciating what we have, but it can get pretty pricey quick. Between the airfare, the transportation, the groceries, the 20-pound turkey, and a cute holiday outfit, you can blow your budget before the clock strikes on Black Friday. What says sexy time to me? Lace bras, specifically ones like this Miu Miu Silk Triangle Bra ($320). The fact that it doesn't have an underwire makes it so delicate, and the combination of lace and satin is quite delectable.

Sure we can't all afford the designer duds cropping up on couture runways from here to Paris, but as the New York Times reports, the recessionistas among us have found another way to get their hands on the coveted — and pricey — merchandise.
Modeled after the "rent-by-web" model, the new site, Rent the Runway, offers clothes from design houses like DvF, Heve Leger, and Catherine Malandrino, to name a few, for anywhere from $50 to $200 dollars for a four-night stay in your very own closet — even dry-cleaning's included in the cost of rental. The only downside, of course, is that fact, that after a couple nights of dancing in your designer number, you'll be forced to pack it up and send it right back.

I need my daily coffee before I get started with the day — though I usually grab it on the way into the office, it's definitely more cost-conscious to brew the beans at home. Maybe if I had such a fancy mug?
You may be wondering what this All You Ultra Coffee Cup ($33) is doing on PetSugar but it's actually made to match a set of dog bowls, coincidentally, the same pricey set North enjoys.

As part of Microsoft's charitable giving campaign, founder Bill Gates is again auctioning off a tour of his Medina, WA, home. Last year the tour sold for $8,600, but this year the bidding has already reached $35,000. You have to be a Microsoft employee to bid in the auction (which reportedly also includes "the world's best bologna sandwich," selling for $500), with all the proceeds benefiting charity.
