I recently asked one of our amazing
interns to check out
ShopStyle Living, where she noticed loads of kitchen accessories with faces on them. Since it seems like we can never
get enough whimsy, I asked her to put together a list of all the ones she thought were fun. From bar tools to trash cans, she found some amazingly cute products.
New York has
Tasti D-lite, Los Angeles has
Pinkberry, and finally San Francisco has jumped on the frozen-yogurt bandwagon with the opening of
SoGreen. Like it's counterparts, SoGreen uses real yogurt with active cultures that can help with
digestion and boosting the immune system. The hot spot opened literally downstairs from our office, so a bunch of us recently took a froyo field trip.

These days there are probably just as many stay-at-home dads as there are moms. And while gender roles need not be a throwback to the '50s, it doesn't mean your kitchen can't be! Recently one of our awesome
summer interns threw together this retro-chic look and now I want to share it with you.

When I was a kid, my mom had the most beautiful set of butterfly coasters. They were bamboo edges with clear glass on top of lace with a butterfly right in the center. They were too pretty to use and she had them as decoration, but I would play with them often.

Recently
CasaSugar and I were chatting about how nature's inspiring a lot of current design trends. The hot trend lies with our
feathered friends. From cocktail plates to vegetable peelers, they're cropping up everywhere.
