In light of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week from February 25 - March 3, and because another model, Eliana Ramos, has passed away from anorexia, I am overwhelmed with so many feelings. A recent study published in the May issue of Appetite, a scientific journal, has found that unhealthy eaters are viewed as less physically attractive, less warm, less intelligent and less studious than those who eat healthfully. The other day I was out to lunch with my girlfriend who has been blabbing to me for the past few months about how she is finally getting healthy. I've been her number one supporter so I was thrown off when she ordered a very unhealthy meal at lunch — I just couldn't help myself from saying something to her when she chugged her second refill of Coke. Unfortunately, she seemed peeved.
