
This week, PartySugar and I have been consumed by
all things Thanksgiving.
We pondered a
Ruby Chai Appletini to serve on the big day, found the
perfect hostess gift, and decided we'd
depart from the usual side of mashed potatoes.

For months now, we've been counting down to the premiere of
Top Chef 5 — thank goodness this week our agony was over. PartySugar
gave up her diet to focus on
Thanksgiving, and I found true love in a new condiment called
Baconnaise.

Our week was off to a great start! We
rang in election night with a celebration. Then we shifted gears to the next big holiday coming up:
Thanksgiving.

This week I had an incredible sweet tooth (just in time for
Halloween). After trying PartySugar's incredible
spiderweb cheesecake, I went on to make my own delightful
beet cupcakes, and I'll be getting into the spirit with some spooktacular

After flying across the country for the
NYC Wine and Food Festival, PartySugar came back in time to plan a
pumpkin patch picnic, and I revisited some old favorites
from Halloween candy past.
